Your eyes scan the concrete horizon, endless grease and twisted steel. You're hungry. It's been a morning of mundane toil, easy on the brain but hard on the stomach it growls in response. Looking up, you notice a gaudy 90's style font towering in the distance you've spotted A&J's. As you stumble into to door to a modern authentic Australian cuisine oasis, you don't stop to think who A, or J, are. All you know are bain marie's full of battered joy, home cooked rissoles or roast pork and beef with scallop potatoes or fried rice drowned with gravy. In a world of farce and facade, fake news and fake fries, here the culinary dreams of the everyday battler is kept alive.

really nice ambience and welcoming environment..staff seemed naturally customer focused and assured me that thats what theyre there for..the coffee and sandwich i had was perfect..overall, ticks all my boxes..ill be back with confidence to taste the menu..

Victor and his team excel at making roast beef rolls that are loved by everyone during their mid-morning break! The menu offers a good variety and the quality is consistently excellent.
