We ordered a Korma, Madras and Rogan Josh and the Korma and Rogan was way too hot to eat. My dad said the Madras was super hot too, and he managed half of it. We thought we could rely on a Korma being mild, which it wasn’t. I e-mailed to explain, not asking for a refund just to point out. I said I wouldn’t add a review, but having not even got an acknowledgment of my e-mail, I thought I’d review anyway! Such a shame as the 2 staff members we met were lovely! fantastic opening!. the jewel in the crown, is an enormous improvement in the previous restaurant of last raj. I came in on a laune when I heard it was taken over and reprocessed. young what a huge improvement! the manager wanted to show me in the restaurant and explain what improvements were made. I ordered my take and went home, that was also impressive, good eating, good prices. I'll find an apology to eat there again!
This is my favourite takeout indian, my favourite dish is the chicken jalfrezi balti it is so flavoursome and is packed full of fresh ingredients. This restaurant receives an honest 5-star rating from me. I have been dining here for years, even with different owners, and I have always had a great experience. The new owners are making efforts to maintain the already high standards. The Nargis kebab starter I had was one of the best I have ever tasted.
