I had a great experience with the hot food at this restaurant, especially compared to the Kingfisher down the road, which often serves cold meals. The staff here is friendly and accommodating, and they also have some scraps available. Parking is generally easy with on-street options, so you should be able to find a spot. I got takeout for dinner, and the price per person falls between £10 and £20.
Visited Hull from Birmingham and fancied some fish and chips, tiny bit of research and decided to try A&M, so glad I did, outstanding fish and chips, the fish batter was perfectly crispy, chips were bostin and the curry was great. Great bunch of staff also, especially the older lady (sorry older lady, older than the two young ones) Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch
Great fish and chips spot! I ordered takeout and was very pleased. The price per person was reasonable, ranging from £10 to £20. The food was excellent, and I’d rate it a perfect 5. The service was also top-notch, earning another 5. As for the atmosphere, I can't give a full review since it was takeout, but it seemed inviting. Overall, a fantastic experience!
I would like to say how wonderful friendly the ladies were to me and my daughter today, we came to get my Dad a proper Hull pattie to take back home to Leeds, he enjoyed it and says it's the best he's had in ages! The food here is always delightful and served in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The haddock is exceptional—delicious with lovely, flaky texture and clearly fresh! For takeout, I had dinner, and the price per person was very reasonable at £1–10. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as 5 out of 5. I highly recommend the fish and chips!
