I come from New York City, but this place is better than anything I can find in Manhattan when it comes to gluten-free options. I could go anywhere in NYC and find a few items here and there, but I make the trip here every three months to stock up. I call this place the gluten-free mecca. I love the vibe here. As a California transplant, this restaurant feels like a familiar and comfortable place to me. It's difficult to find good health food options in the city, but this place has everything I could ever want all in one spot. It feels like being back home.
Awesome grocery store with tons of vegan food including in their hot buffet, juice bar and sushi options. Good prices on organic produce and groceries and frequent sales. While it's not entirely vegan, there really is so much and I don't have to see tons of dead animal flesh everywhere which is a nice change... It often feels like I'm in a vegan grocery store. They have A LOT of stuff you can do all or almost all of your grocery shopping here including some specialty items. Friendly staff always happy to look for anything we can't find.
Makes food shopping easy for a Vegan as it has everything you need They carry all the brands that you can think of and have a wide variety of plant based milks, yogurts, cheeses and “meats”. They also have a large frozen section with lots of vegan options. Fresh juice and smoothie bar and a large variety of natural/organic/vegan beauty/hygiene products as well
This restaurant offers a fantastic deal with a variety of great options. My favorite treat they sell here is their true chocolate! I adore this place, as it caters to the needs and desires of health-conscious consumers. It is spacious and welcoming.

A Matter of Health is a fantastic place. They have fresh organic produce, and all you'd expect from a great health food store and a salad bar and other dishes. The people there are really helpful and friendly and I highly recommend it!
The employees are nasty and unaccommodating for the most part. The owners are greedy and only care about the bottom dollar. I’ve been shopping here since they opened and will continue to do so because their selection is amazing.
a question of health is such a big load for vegan cheese, frozen food, milk etc. for non-special items I would recommend to go to their regular market as the dings can be a bit more expensive with an opportunity of health.

the options are endless. the prepared foods can be put off. the desserts are lush!
