Nice place to sit and nice atmosphere, but totally overrated price/quality and too much effort for selling. Within 5 minutes 3 different people asked if we wanted a cocktail for us and the kids (very expensive) When we requested water first, waiter reacted disappointed. We’ve asked for a kids menu, nothing was in the menu but pasta was available. €37, for a simple pasta tomato. Risotto without a character (very little). In total €400 for 2 adults en 2 kids (2 times pre course 2x risotto 2x kids pasta and 2 x desert, drinks). Disappointment and would not go back. Cherry on the cake is to pay €5. for valet Parking when your car is still at the same spot in front of the restaurant after paying...
I’ve been going to this place (including its predecessor Cicale for over 10 years as I live nearby, and this is the last time. The staff were pathetically snooty, and the valet parking guy appeared to be actually drunk(! . The food was in fact really good, but it’s hard to enjoy the food when you’re surrounded by posing waiters and waitresses talking nonsense into CIA type earpieces and ignoring the clients. Such a shame as it’s a great location. What it needs is an owner/manager on site who understands what a service business needs. And get rid of the valet parking it looks and feels like a con when there is no lack of parking space around.
the place is beautiful, perceited attention, good food. would put 5 stars if it were not for prices, very expensive for quantities. They also offer you extras that are still a barbarism. We asked for a meat for 2 that was wonderful but it was 3 fillets and it was 140 that dish, offered us grilled vegetables and a puré and added almost 40 euros. So everything. I don't think we're coming back, it's from these places on the island that happen. but quality and service very well. if the prices added to the quantities would be perfect.
