the place looks very nice but the service is terrible. the food arrived without cutlery, cold, poorly thawed, poorly prepared, they do not put a side dish or rice or salad, the prices are very expensive and the food is terrible, it is a shame that they charge for bad service and bad food, definitely if you are new to cartago, don't make a mistake. there are many more better quality restaurants at lower prices. for example, cravings of my woodland. the seafood that they sell, i don't remember the name, but it is/diagonal to antojitos of my land. new to cargo don't make my same mistakes they charge very expensive for nothing many waiters but the attention is terrible the local as if very nice...
El lugar es genial, la atención excelente, nos atendió una mesera muy amable, si desean te decoran según la ocasión, los platos muy ricos y accesibles, la sangría simplemente deliciosa y no es costosa como lo es usualmente en otros lugares, el sitio es colonial, una arquitectura muy Interesante, se puede parquear afuera del sitio, no hay ningún problema con ello, el sitio solo está habilitado hasta las 9 pm para que lo tengan en cuenta, en general todo muy bien, no tengo queja. My husband had a salmon that was overcookd and loaded in a heavy pink creamy sauce. I had the gourmet salad but the waitress forgot to mention that it had some crab meat in it which I didn't want. The menu doesn't have any description of the dish so you have to guess what they'll put in it. Service is ok, decoration is nice but there are mosquitoes biting...not fun.
This restaurant is a must visit if ever you go to Cartago. Located in an old colonial house both the food and service are first class and tremendous value for money. The owner Guillermo is very friendly and delights in meeting his customers. You can have the executive lunch or order a la cartera or even just have a drink on the terrace. Well recommended. Es un lugar muy bonito ubicado en una casa construida hace más de 70 años y adecuada con piezas antiquísimas del siglo XIX. La comida es rica aunque puede mejorar. El servicio amable y el ambiente tranquilo. Queda en una zona agradable de Cartago. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
