A Modo Mio - Réservation de table

My only reason to give this review a 4 is because of the table next to us. We walked in last night at 2000 and the host was gracious and cleaned up a table for us so we wouldn’t have to wait too long (this is important later). Very personable servers and bussers. Water and hot bread were here before you know it. Knowledgeable staff and while we were waiting for our meal, the entitled table next to us started their plan to get money off of their check. “My crostini is burnt and I’m not paying for it.” Crostini is grilled over a flame sir is what I was thinking but the server being the professional she is said “I’m sorry, I can get you a new one and I’m taking off the bill for you. I had a reservation for eight people. When we got there we were seated promptly. The waiter was polite and took care of us through our dining experience. We were served our appetizers in an acceptable timeframe but our main course meal was delayed for reasons I am not aware of. When we finally got our meal there were mixed opinions on the food quality and taste. I personally ordered the veal parmigiano. When I got it, the veal was overcooked almost bunt and the sauce was sub par. Because the food was delayed and I was hungry, I ate about half the serving I got but could not eat any more because it did not taste good. I told the waiter about the food and he relayed the message to the kitchen....

WAS our go to BYOB place since opening. No more. DO NOT go there with kids under age10 !! We could look past the styrofoam water cups meant for soup takeout... Kids served promptly as we requested but over 50 minutes later and the adults have no sign of food. Had to get entrees to go ! For the 2nd year in a row, the same server lectures us about food times and different temps for entrees, and it has only been xxx minutes... with attitude ! We dine out alot don't need to be insulted about cooking times. Take your family to La Finestra same owners and menu without the attitude !! Also, the Deauville Oar House do just fine with families !

I had a lovely dinner at A Modo Mio. We ordered the clams, calamari, and eggplant rollatini to start. Everything was delicious. I had the flounder special, which was amazing! My husband chose the Bronzino and loved it. We arrived 30 minutes early and apologized, but they seated us immediately! Such a lovely meal. Réservez une table maintenant

Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a year or more but just never worked out. Dessert was the best part of the meal. Main courses were middle of the road nothing special. Like most restaurants, not enough staff. Our waiter was handling tables both inside and outside not ideal at all.

Food was delicious and super reasonably priced! Service was really great— only caveat was at the end I felt a little rushed by a woman who wasn't our original waiter, she kept snatching things off our table and just overall seemed a little miserable, but still great service overall.

We wanted to order apps for the table while we continued to consider mains. They said no, we had to put entire order in at once. Unusual. But our dinners, a hanger steak special, an orange roughy special, and two chicken dishes were very good!

Between Joe and Anastasia, we had an absolutely lovely experience. The rigatoni à la vodka as was superb as was the Caesar salad. We had a great table outside so the noise level was not really discernible. Looking forward to the next time! Réservez une table maintenant

My husband and I often visit A Modo Mio. We are always greeted warmly and seated quickly. The service is outstanding, especially with Maria and Mary serving us. It's definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Sea Isle.

Our food was great and our server, Maria, even better! Everyone enjoyed their individual dishes and from what I heard around the table, the short ribs were the best! This is a family fave.
