We selected A Raposa for dinner largely because it was the closest restaurant to our hotel it was pouring rain outside. We were not particularly looking for a fine dining or romantic restaurant; if a more casual restaurant with a reputation for good food had been closeby and open, we likely would have selected it. The place is incredibly beautiful, warm, beautiful, spacious. The luminosity is perfect, soft and warm. The decoration is that of a refined old house with perfect taste. Another very important aspect for me is the quality of the music and the high quality of the speakers that offer a wonderful atmosphere. The sound is present discreetly and is not the protagonist. after a day on the way back to the train station we found this wonderful restaurant on the way back. it is from the season, so was very quiet, but the owner/chef/water was super and very attentive. we had the most amazing lunch. we have shared a cheese and sesambrot to begin my wife had the salmon and shrimp risotto, I had the porkback with chestnut sausage. both meals were error-free and tasted amazing. the wine was also very good. if they like good eating, amazing service and jazz/blue music, they will love this place. we visit lisbon every january, and this is now on the list of duty.

Went for dinner after seeing good reviews and liked the look of the room . It was terrible food , €95 for . 2 lack lustre starters 2* over cooked rubbery cod. Starter €15 was billed as salmon Cerviche salad , basically a huge bowl of lettuce , a few slices of strawberries and about 4 small pieces of smoked salmon the sort you buy in the supermarket. Salt cod , the worst I have had in Portugal , we left most of it . We left before desert , which we had in a pleasant bar in the square . Would not recommend Réservez une table maintenant

Had an amazing fresh sea bass that the chef from Brazil went out to get just for us. Francesco is a great waiter. Understanding service. In the middle of a bite the older waitress there just bursted into a traditional Portuguese classic song. With 20' ceilings the song bolted. What a great night

A gem in the middle of downtown Sintra. Far away from any tourists you can enjoy the extremely delicious food in a great atmosphere. The service (only in Portuguese) was impeccable and felt treated great. The restaurant is recommended to everyone. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

everything is perfect I've been to Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in London and it's better than there. The staff are really friendly and I really like every little thing, even the dessert wine interior. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
