Looking for a special restaurant to mark the end of our son's 10-day holiday with us, we were recommended Restaurant a Roda as a place locals frequent away from the more touristy venues along the seafront at nearby Concha Beach. We were pleased we followed the advice as our party of three enjoyed an excellent and reasonably priced dinner. We were particularly pleased that we were not the only diners, though being an out-of-season Thursday evening, it was still sparsely populated. Went to Restaurante A Roda a year on from our first visit. Still a great place away from the tourist trail in the lovely little town of Oropesa del Mar. The food is good, authentic Spanish fare with no pretensions, just like this restaurant bar, which is clearly popular with the locals. The service is friendly and, even though we speak very little Spanish, the staff could not have been more helpful. Our three-course meal for three, including a pre-dinner G&T, a bottle of mineral water and a decent Marques de Caceres Rioja, a coffee and a Carajillo, came to just over €118, which we thought was very reasonable. Hemos estado comiendo mi familia y yo hoy el menú. El restaurante es tranquilo, está muy bien decorado con fotos de Oropesa, las mesas súper limpias y bien organizadas. Los camareros muy gentiles y alegres. La comida espectacular y con una pinta buenísima, felicitaciones a los cocineros. Recomiendo este lugar, repetiremos sin duda. Así que si pasas por Oropesa y no sabes dónde parar aquí es un gran sitio para comer y sentirte en casa. Gracias!!

Ayer sábado estuvimos cenando y había mucha gente. Fuimos sin reserva y tuvimos sitio. Todo fue maravilloso con un trato excelente. El tema de sin gluten lo trataron muy bien ya que una de las personas era celiaca. La comida muy buena. Para volver.
It's a reference restaurant. the menu is always very good. The attention is great and it gives go to eat there. It is a place to repeat and repeat.No matter that it is not on the beach, because a restaurant is going to eat. it is worth going.
Estuvimos el 3-3-24, estuvo todo tan bien y tan bueno que repetimos dos días después, y de nuevo un 10 , hay un saleroso malagueño que lo borda y además una cocina de 10.
Hemos ido a almorzar bastante pronto y todas las tapas son espectaculares. Rápido y todo estaba extremadamente bueno. Muy top
