We had a great family meal here, with seven people and two small children. We chose the location in the centre of town because the restaurant has some nice outdoor seating on a safe pedestrian square. This paid off, as the children were well entertained chasing each other around the square. The Italian food was fantastic - from entrees to mains and even the espresso was superb. One little criticism would be that the Italian waitress could smile a bit more and that the children's meals came out last with quite a bit of delay to everyone else's, which caused a bit of nervousness. But these are just a minor points. The food here is authentic and great!
Vi kom sent til Eckerförde og måtte ha oss noe å spise. A Tavolta var åpent så vi prøvde den. Det var ganske dårlig service, maten var i beste fall gjennomsnittlig. Lokalene var klassisk innredet, men intet spesielt. Kort sagt, svært ordinært og kjedelig på alle måter. Prisen var i overkant i forhold til hva vi fikk. For bare å få seg litt mat er A Tavola OK, men det finnes mange mye bedre restauranter i Eckernförde.
Pretty good Italian food for being so far away from everything, especially Italy. The menu is large with specials changing daily (we dined here 2 nights in a row). The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. The atmosphere is casual and easy-going, with seating outside...as well. And to top it off, they made a proper Aperol spritz.

We found this place via TripAdvisor and it was great! The food is very tasty and VERY reasonably priced. We asked for a table at the window instead of sitting at one of the high tables.
we went there with the family. eating is excellent. Italian and there are plenty of it and for a fair price. waiters are friendly and professional. I'm receiving the restaurant.
Wie sind hier schon wieder gegangen, weil wir nach 30 min. noch nicht mal die Speisekarte hatten. Andere Gäste warteten 90 Minuten auf das Essen und das mit Kindern...
Nettes Ambiente mit Bistro-Atmosphäre. Gutes Essen, moderate Preise. Es gibt auch einen separaten Raum für kleine private Gesellschaften.
