I visited Abaco for lunch during a tour, and while the venue, a period Canarian mansion, was of interest, the meal was a disappointment. While I appreciate this was mass catering, there is no excuse for lukewarm food. The starter was a green vegetable soup (I couldn't tell you what vegetable), followed by beef medallions in a mustard cream sauce, with boiled potatoes. Both were lukewarm. The only saving grace was the delicious (but very rich) chocolate dessert. I am sure they could do better and provide a meal fitting for the surroundings !
This delightful Canarian house is perfectly maintained and the gardens provide a perfect spot for cocktails or dinner. We last ate hear after one of the Sunday evening concerts and enjoyed a beautifully presented meal. Puerto has numerous good eateries so what sets the Abaco apart is the stunning setting. It's well worth the 10 minute walk from La Paz.
gran encanto de todo el resto es la casa y su ubicación ... espectacular zona tranquila .. pasillo .. jardines. piscinas, mesas. y donde comer es muy bueno. el servicio muy bien y profesional. hay estacionamientos. lugar muy cómodo y limpio ... áreas privadas donde comer y los salones muy bien todo.
Algunos amigos, Jenny y Toño, celebraron su boda allí. el sitio es hermoso y acogedor. tiene estacionamiento desde el que accede a los jardines que es donde la boda fue ofendida. L@s camarer@s y el personal encantador. maravilloso

fantastic place, I visited the house and it is imprecionant, without doubt precious, and I also had the luck to attend several events organized by paqui and everything to perfection.
excellent treatment of the lady who made us the guided tour and the same can be said of the musician who delights us with the harp with Paraguayan and Venezuelan music.
excellent treatment, good place to celebrate any event. take care of every detail, the catering surprised us very nicely. We spent an unforgettable day.
