the abessina is a small but fine Ethiopian restaurant in the göttinger city. the food is very tasty and the service is great: passionate, engaged and everything is explained in a quiet and detailed way. especially beautiful are the plates that are worth it when you come to the abessina with several, because you can try everything. especially positiw I also find that there are both meat dishes and vegan foods and everything is explicitly excellent. so there is something for everyone and you don't have to go into compromise.

I spent my last birthday with a friend of mine. it was amazing. eating was delicious, so many vegan options. the atmosphere was calm and the waiter was friendly. now I will cook some vegan Ethiopian home. the bad thing is that it opens around 17 o'clock, no chance to lunch.

this place has relocated us 30 years when we were at the university in tübingen, a similar city full of young people . no problem eating was good. I recommend to go with a plate and order more of their favorites. for us these were the red lenses and the bark. divine!
