Although it takes 20 minutes for the meat to cook fully and for your sandwich to be prepared, the result is definitely worth the wait. In addition to their tasty sandwiches, they also offer raw marinated or unmarinated meat for you to enjoy at home, as well as giant meat platters that are charcoal-grilled and perfect for your next party. Their charcoal chicken is delicious, and they also sell whole roast chickens.

This place is packed with Middle Eastern customers who come here for some good quality meat. I just love their chicken wrap with hummus and vinegar turnips. They serve a few hot dishes for lunch or dinner. Call before to have your sandwich prepared if its take out as there is always a line up.

This place is a small deli in a strip mall in north Montreal. They offer sandwiches which are is your choice of meat, a sauce, and some condiments. I suggest the lamb, dressed (meaning with everything.) It was a great combination of flavors. This is a lunch type spot- steadily busy and the food was great and not expensive.

YES! YES! YES! This place is a favorite go to on the island. Great tasting food, very reasonably priced, great service! Before living here, I made it a point to come here every time i visited Montreal! By far the best Middle Eastern/North African style BBQ joints. Strongly recommend it!
Highly addictive grilled chicken. Abu Elias has the best grilled chicken (also known as shish taouk) in Montreal, either in a sandwich or a half-kilo platter for you and friends, always delicious. The side street usually has places to park.
