Abugida Ethiopian Cuisine And Cafe

This place is the best Ethiopian restaurant around (and I've tried several). The food is just delicious (very vegetarian/vegan friendly), the staff (especially the lady at the front counter) is always so kind and warm, and the interior design of the restaurant is beautiful. They even have vegan baklava (I haven't found that elsewhere). Love love love coming here and encourage anyone who loves flavorful food and a lovely atmosphere to try it too.

Loved the service and the quality of the good. The 8 serving veggie sampler was excellent, especially the 3 types of lentils. They have the spice level at medium to mild across all dishes Make sure to go with a friend or group of friends so that you can try everything and of course make sureto dig in with your hands (don't use any utensils!

Absolute perfection... in a warm, cozy and unassuming setting. This place is the real deal, without the big price tag of fancy Ethiopian restaurants in the DMV area. All 8 of the veggie dishes were amazing. The meat was also fantastic. I couldn 't ask for anything more. SO happy this place made it through Covid and I can 't wait to go back!

Great quality food, service, and environment. As a picky eater my experience here was stress-free, fun, and filling. The staff was very nice and answered my questions about the menu and Ethiopian coffee which I highly recommend. Best, freshest coffee I?ve ever had. This is a must-try restaurant.

Worthy to give it a shot the place is really nice and the food is good they have some plates that have a little bit of everything so that way you can check what do you like
