Read many reviews of Acqua and didn't disappoint. Was there one hour prior to our reservation and took us right away to the upper level. Nice location across the street from the marina on White Bear Lake. White table cloths and a somewhat elegant look. Service was excellent, from start to finish. Had mixed drinks which were very good and appetizers of Caesars salad and baguette. Bread was fresh and the honey butter to compliment was fantastic. For entrees we had Wagyu beef and mashed potatoes plus their shrimp scampi. Both were big hits! Pricing falls in the $75-100 per person range but in my estimation it is appropriate because of the taste, presentation and portions of the food plus ambian...
A really nice upscale restaurant right on the lake. We sat on the upper level patio and enjoyed the lake activity over dinner. The building is laid out like an old house with many different rooms including one with a bar. Elegant interior. The menu is varied and I appreciate the unique items and game selections. Extensive wine list. Service was excellent. Everyone was very attentive and friendly from the hostess to the bus staff and servers. They do tack on the automatic 20% service fee, but our server was very purposeful in informing us. Much appreciated. Highly recommend trying Acqua for a great meal and experience.
Acqua is one of my very favorite restaurants! The food is always cooked to perfection, the service is kind and professional, and the atmosphere is lovely, especially on a nice summer night when you can sit outside by the lake. I also like sitting out on the little upstairs balcony! I appreciate that it's nice enough to be a special occasion place, but also approachable and priced so that you can do drinks and a couple apps without breaking the bank either. Can't wait to return!
Excellent food, terribly long wait for it to arrive and a very loud room (because of the high vaulted ceilings even 5 tables were deafening. We had a 6:30 reservation and like I said, there were only 5 other tables and still we didn't get out of there until 9:30 PM. Then they have the nerve to charge a 20% user fee. They tried to make amends by offering us a free dessert. Then that took a long time to get served. For what they charge for dinner, unacceptable.

Acqua is fantastic! First time we have been there and everything was amazing. The host showed us around so we could pick the best table and we chose outside by the lake. They have the best service. Everyone was so friendly, polite and informative. The food and wine was excellent. Evan our waiter was courteous and spot on. We never had to wait for anything. We definitely will be back!!!
We waited an hour for our appetizer, and the Caesar salad was tiny and not recommended. One of the entrees was oversalted. On a positive note, the restaurant's ambiance was good, the staff were friendly, and the manager resolved our issues. I might give this place another try in the future, but not any time soon.
This restaurant gets it! Delicious meals prepared and presented beautifully. Yes the Caesar salad had real anchovies in it!! The welcome we received and the servers all had a genuine yes attitude and sitting on the shaded patio overlooking the marina completed the evening.
We ordered the Seabass and the halibut special everything was delicious. The service was fantastic highly recommend and look forward to returning.

yes, it costs money to eat and drink here...but if you are gonna do it, make it count....excellent food and you eat out by the boatslips/lake
We couldn't think of one thing we'd change with any of the dishes we had. Everything was top notch including the service.
