Adagio Pasta Grill is a gem of a restaurant in this small town. My family has been there at least 20 times since they opened (probably much more) and I have yet to have a bad experience. I was shocked to come on here (looking for their menu before our visit tonight) and not find this rated 5 stars. What we love: (1) the pricing for the amount and quality (for lunch especially) is more bang for your buck than going through the local drive throughs and often less expensive. We have been impressed by the food and service at this restaurant in the past, but last night will be the last time we eat there. The food was sub-par at best. The children's mac and cheese was kraft out of the box. Not what we expect from a higher end Italian restaurant. The spaghetti and meat balls tasted like they were frozen and jar sauce. Me and my cousin went for lunch. We arrived bout 12:35 pm. Waitress came over in 10 minutes. Received our drinks and placed food order. We got our soup it was barely warm. Waitress stated she would get us more and bread would be out soon. Finally got second bowl of soup and it was cold. Still haven't received our food. By now it is almost 1 pm and our waitress got about 3 more tables after us. Almost 1:30 pm and all the tables after us has gotten their food. So we discussed our ordeal with another waitress. The eggplant parmesan was about 40% breading and lacked any flavor. The Alfredo was bland as well. However the toasted ravioli was really good. The food just tasted like microwaved frozen food. Plus the fact that I paid 45 dollars for two lunches really stuck in my craw. Made me wish for an Olive Garden. Réservez une table maintenant

The food reminds me of my what my Italian grandmother used to make. It is some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had eaten, with generous portions.Staff are all very kind and welcoming. It has immediately become a go-to spot of ours.

The food is good but the service is always iffy. My husband likes it but I leave with a headache from the overpowering candle burning un the entrance. Why does a restaurant not what you to smell their food cooking?
