We dropped by for a quick pint and some nibbles after visiting St Andrews. We were the only ones in their outdoor seating area which felt a bit weird since nearby places were mobbed, but it was fine for us. Their beer selection is very limited, with only a handful of boring beers available so -1 star for that. The nibbles we got were fairly pricy so figured we'd get decent portions, but they were tiny, so -1 star again. The service was friendly though and the nibbles were tasty so it wasn't all bad. Overall an ok experience, but I'm not sure I'd drop by again.
The Adamson never disappoints! Had a wonderful meal on Saturday night. The service was excellent and the food divine. We had the halibut, the lamb and the fish and chips and everything was so tasty and expertly cooked. Desserts were the chocolate mousse and the strawberry cheesecake and those were also so good. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've been to The Adamson and I've never had a bad experience. Can't recommend highly enough.
We got seated by a lovely waitress in the cocktail bar that we reserved. It did take about 30 minutes to get our cocktail. 3 very under filled and the fourth was quite disgusting! Blue suede shoes! We requested the very under filled cocktails to be filled up which they kindly did do. Very nice place with a good atmosphere but the cocktails were not to the standard hoped. Price per person: £10–20
I recently ate at the Adamson while on vacation in Spain with my cousin Derek. I thought the food was good, but I felt like the management doesn't treat the staff very well. Management must remember that treating staff well is the key to the success of a business. Juan

Went in yesterday for cocktails for our daughters 18th birthday. There was 7 of us and a member of staff saw us arrive but didn’t acknowledge us in any way. After 20 minutes of sitting in an empty bar and no staff in the bar area atal we left. Service: 1
