I ordered takeout from Addis Ababa Ethiopian Grocery Café based on a friend's recommendation. I tried the vegetarian combo and the beef cutlets (tibs) with injera. The food was flavorful, abundant, and perfectly satisfying for both me and my wife. The owner is very kind and welcoming. While waiting, I enjoyed some Ethiopian coffee that packed a nice punch! I will definitely return when I'm in the mood for Ethiopian cuisine again. I have a deep appreciation for Ethiopian cuisine and have been enjoying it for 25 years. I even have close friends from Ethiopia. Unfortunately, my experience with the beef tibs here was truly disappointing—it's the worst I've ever had! Coming from Ohio, even our lesser offerings surpass this. There was a complete lack of flavor and spice, and the meat was dry, tough, and seemed like it had been reheated multiple times. Service was through delivery. For lunch, I spent around $30–50, but the food and service were both disappointing, rating just a 1 out of 5.
