We hosted a happy hour at Addison Ice House with about 30 attendees. It was so much fun! The service was top notch, appetizers were great (and super well priced on the Wednesday special), and drink prices were great! It's a fun, laidback atmosphere and the bartenders were all so kind and attentive. Bonus that you can see the Vitruvian Christmas lights form the patio! Will definitely be be back again.
However, we have never experienced such poor service. It took 40 minutes for our food to arrive, and they brought out our appetizers at the same time as our main dishes. By this point, the food was cold and quite average, as it had likely been sitting at the bar for about 20 minutes. Additionally, our order was wrong. I would highly recommend saving your money and time by skipping this place.
The music was awful, and the bartender was probably the worst I've ever encountered. The short, bald bartender seemed completely disinterested in serving drinks or providing any kind of service; instead, he was more focused on his vaping and texting. It’s no surprise that the place was nearly empty. If they improved their service, perhaps more customers would come and spend money here.
Came here on Thursday night! It’s a low key chill bar. Didn’t know it was free taco bar with drinks! My friends and I had a great time just drinking and catching up. Couldn’t bet the prices for well drinks honestly. Felt bad because it was only two people bartending and serving! They were fantastic guys though! Definitely coming back! Addison Ice House is a fantastic spot to enjoy some drinks with friends and family. It can get a bit crowded on Friday and Saturday evenings, but overall, it's a great place for a night out. Despite the constant clatter of billiard balls, the atmosphere is welcoming and fun.
Friendly service, good drinks, good food. A nice neighborhood bar! You have different activities depending on the day of the week when you visit, never a boring time there!
I’m addicted to their funnel cake fried! The ice house burger is also amazing and juicy
