Delicious unpretentious Portuguese with a fabulous convivial host. This is a special gem. We were looking for a classic experience after having tried many incredible but upscale and touristy restaurants in Lisbon and our hotel sent us to Luis. We had pretty modest expectations since we weren’t convinced that our hotel would point us to somewhere this legit. (NOTE: We did not reserve, but a word to the wise, make a reservation if you want a table!! We got lucky with a no show. The restaurant is a teeny hole in the wall but don’t be fooled. a small place that was stuffed on a narrow stone square recommended by a family member who has dived here for several years. family-run restaurant with antonio front and his wife makes the kitchen. greeted with a warm smile, each table was provided with broth, olive, carrots and a seafood dip. antonio helped my wife with a wine-selection and held several times on the table to ensure that everything was enjoyed and chat with all the guests. Os mariscos são frescos e locais, preparados na perfeição para que o cliente obtenha os sabores mais surpreendentes. O proprietário está na frente da casa e conhece bem seus pratos, é ótimo com os clientes e compartilha com você sua paixão pela comida. Ele prepara a comida com a esposa durante o dia e ela fica na cozinha à noite para servir, um verdadeiro assunto de família. Definitivamente voltaremos na próxima vez que estivermos em Lisboa

Pequeno restaurante muito simpático que serve cozinha local de muito boa qualidade. O chefe é extraordinário: jovial, quer que seus clientes fiquem satisfeitos, e muito investido em seu trabalho. We ordered sea bass for two...wow the portions were huge! Delicious...could not complain about quality. The waiter/owner is entertainment in itself...like a tornado flying up and down the restaurant...we had such a laugh! Would recommend...and so reasonable.

Very authentic, away from the busier tourist areas. The owner and his wife are wonderful hosts, like being invited to their home for a terrific meal. Highly recommended, intimate space.
