we arrived at 5:10 and ordered our drinks and food. the chef, david stone, came to our table and apologized and told us that it fired the herd and it took an additional 10 minutes to serve us. we don't mind. we ordered a **** mary and a chardonnay and were not in a hurry. mr. stone personally served our dinner and it was great. it was worth waiting. This was a fantastic place to stop! They had an excellent selection of beers, the service was incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious! We chose to sit outside and received prompt service. Our server, Markaiah, was amazing and extremely efficient. We tried the fried pickles, boneless wings in the Adelphia/Hot style, and the gyro, all of which were tasty! I'm really glad we decided to come here; there are plenty of options in the area, and this was definitely a great choice!
First off. We are not these people. Secondly. Our server was flirting with some dude behind us the entire time we were there. She was 20 he was EASILY 30+. I have eaten here a few times with family and coworkers. Their burgers and gyros have been good every time. The Greek twist on classic American is neat. Adelphia is an easy recommendation for anyone craving pub food Charleston. Would be 5 stars if the service was improved.
