We come fairly often. My mom loves their pupusas made with rice flour (arina de aroz) which is hard to find.Reason they are not getting a 5 is because of the wait and parking.. They do not have parking (you have to drive around the block); and the wait to receive your food is +30 mins (Every. Single. Time. ?)Their horchata is bomb.!! (Note: Salvadorian horchata is completely different than popularly known Mexican Horchata.)The vibe feels cultural I love how it 's set up. We normally go for breakfast or lunch.
My son brought his food from somewhere else and we were almost 40 people who were going to eat there that day and very arrogantly when I called the person who helped me told me that you can't bring in food from somewhere else because of their arrogance and policies they lost selling we were going to consume 40 people on Sunday, March 10.
I've lived in this country for 17 years and have visited around 30 to 50 restaurants across various cities in Los Angeles in search of the best pupusas. Yet, I always find myself coming back to this place—without a doubt, it’s the best I’ve discovered. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10!
Cojutepeque has been one of my favorite restaurants since the 90sA place with authentic Salvadoran dishes with a very good flavor

Excellent decoration, lighting, music, service and DELICIOUS food, nothing salty and to the point and very well cooked.
I don't recommend the leg soup, the cabbage came out completely raw and the rest of the vegetables are horrible.
Pupusas are good they have all types like chicharon con queso, revueltas, frijol con queso.
My kids really enjoy the pupusas and the special Cojutepeque. We all love it!
