Afghan Kitchen South Surrey

Dined here for dinner a couple of weeks ago. The food was good but unfortunately our experience was marred by the arrogant attitude of the staff, particularly while waiting to be seated. The male staff who checked us in was cold and unresponsive. What made us feel the worst was how he very visibly sized us up, doing a head to toe scan of our party before proceeding to seat us. The one star is for the food, which was flavourful and generous in portion. However, I really can’t recommend a place that would make customers feel so judged and disrespected.

Zabi at the Afghan Kitchen was incredibly helpful with helping me choose gf options and explained which items may be cross contaminated and which would be safe. Felt great after and will absolutely come back.

Amazing food. Amazing people. Eaten here many times without a reaction. Highly recommended.
