Ordered 6 items off the menu and every single one of them was stone cold I ordered duck spring rolls which are more expensive than normal and couldn’t see or taste any duck in them at all was all just veg. The salt and pepper chicken pieces were chewy and the chips were like soggy cardboard. After being diagnosed with coeliac disease a year ago, I hadn't had a Chinese takeaway until I came across the reviews on this site. So, I decided to make a special trip to try it out. It was definitely worth it. I called ahead and the restaurant confirmed that they use separate fryers for their gluten-free menu. They were also very knowledgeable about various allergens and dietary requirements. They were willing to accommodate any requests to make dishes gluten-free. My family all opted for the gluten-free options so we could share, and everything we tried was delicious, especially the peking spare ribs. I will definitely make a special trip to this restaurant again next time I am in the NW...
It's gone down hill rapid. I waited over 1 hour 30 mins for a delivery, they said they were a driver down. When food finally arrived, we got told that walk in orders get priority. Food was luke warm, tasteless very salty. Rang complained, they apologised offered 20% off next order if we went back. They should of offered a full refund. We have been going there for a long time had a few bad experiences. A take away is a treat should be enjoyed, you don't get this from here. We won't be going back, there are better Chinese take aways out there. We would NOT recommend After Five.
This place was my go to for Chinese food in Northwich but the place has gone downhill over the last 12 months The food is still very good but they get orders wrong and the customer service when they get something wrong is to blame anybody but themselves I even spoke to the owner and has was also rude and obnoxious. They delivered me the wrong meal and despite me having proof of what I ordered online they would not come out and replace it unless I paid again. I'm sorry but I won't be ordering again

I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease just 6 months ago, so I am new to navigating a gluten-free diet. I recently tried this Chinese restaurant and was impressed by the attention to detail they showed in accommodating my dietary needs. I could hear the staff in the kitchen discussing which items on my order were gluten-free, which was reassuring. The food was delicious and I appreciated the care they took in ensuring my meal was safe for me to eat.
Chinese Takeaway offers a variety of gluten-free items on their website, with the option to choose from a wide selection of dishes. Most gluten-free items come with an 80p supplement. In addition to the main dishes, they also have dim sum options available. Currently, they have gluten-free spring rolls, gluten-free chicken toast, gluten-free prawn toast, ribs, and seaweed on their menu.
Great selection of vegan options for a Chinese takeaway. Specific vegan (and GF) menus. Obviously there could be even more choice but it's great to have a Chinese that you know you can get something you like from.
Amazing food! I was so worried that I’d never be able to have a Chinese takeaway again that wasn’t cross contaminated but they have separate fryers and are so accommodating! Definitely recommend!

After Five is very knowledgable about GF food and is always trying to reinvent none gf food to be gf. Service is always good Give a go… you’ll love it
