Afternoon Tea At Frensham Pond Hotel

The management at this restaurant is fantastic. The hotel staff are kind and professional. I had an issue during my stay, but the manager went above and beyond to ensure everything was corrected and that my stay was fantastic. I couldn't have asked for more. However, I was disappointed with the spa and some of its staff. It did not meet the expected standards for a hotel of this calibre and was not worth the money. Everything else about the hotel is extremely nice. Rooms: 5 stars.

Garden room was very clean and wonderful view. Food abit dissappinting. The starter was salmon with avo wich was a 10/10 but the mains, rib eye i cannot recommend. Not 28 day aged as it was very tough and tasted as if microwaved. Cut away about 1/4 of the steak as was just to tough to eat. Starter was better than the mains at a 1/3 of the price. Lovely setting for the old hotel. Clean inside. Good size rooms,massive bed. Lovely shower. Breakfast was enough for first thing of the day. Staff were very helpful too. We were given a room key, but upon returning at night, we found that our room was occupied by another guest. We had to wait for 2 hours until 2 in the morning to be given another room. The manager was very slow to respond and the towels were dirty. Overall, the rooms were rated a 2, service a 3, and location a 2. Réservez une table maintenant

I'm surprised Goodman doesn't get as much hype as Hawksmoor because it's really fantastic. I booked a couple weeks in advance for dinner on a Friday night.
