"My husband and I had lunch here. He ordered shrimp and I got the salmon. The price was a little high for the amount of food that we received. Service was good and it was a nice place to get out of the heat. The food was average."

We have eaten at this restaurant several times since we stayed at the Hotel Santo Toribio, in which this restaurant is located. Although we do think the breakfast is excellent, it comes with the hotel rate. Therefore, we will be reviewing the dinner.We ordered the octopus with Don Julio glaze, the "sopa maravilla", and the penne with seafood. All were AMAZING. Not only were the flavors and textures masterfully done, but the presentation was beautiful too. You would think that you were dining at a five star restaurant, but for completely reasonable prices! Our entire meal -- consisting of the three entrees listed above and a drink -- came out to be less than $25. We highly recommend this place.
This is a quaint little restaurant that has about tables in it and some of the best service and tastiest food in town. Everything we had was excellent (best ceviche I've ever had) in an intimate setting, as if you are in the (very...nice) dining room of someone's home. Since I was there with a party of they closed the restaurant to others while we were there and treated us like royalty. If you're lucky enough to get Danilo as your server you will be very happy with your service, as he prides himself on making you feel at home. Don't miss this place-it's wonderful!
Went with the OAT group and enjoyed the "steak tartare" (really a citrusy ground beef seviche, very delicious) and the beef sirloin in mushroom sauce, perfectly cooked. Their frozen drinks were excellent - both red wines I tried were strange and served ice cold - the first wine was clearly off and I sent it back - the second was just OK. The decor was beautiful in the front of the restaurant but did not visit the back.
I had the salmon at this restaurant. It was served with a fruity sauce and was one of the best salmon I've ever had. The service was friendly and attentive and the plate presentation was very attractive. All of this priced at less than half what I would expect back home.
