Although I would recommend my friends to visit Agora, the service last time was very low and bad. Agora is one of my fav' places in DC, I go there very often when visitors come, business meetings etc,. However, last time when I went, the service was bad. The waiter came at least 10 times in the first 20 mins since we came, he saw us talking and looking for the menu, however, he did not respect our space and privacy . He came and asked us again and again if we need to order food. While making our order, he recommend us to order at least 7-8 dishes, alleging that each person need 3-4 dishes. He did not ask how much we are hungry, which kind of dishes we like, I felt he was trying to push more...
We celebrated my husband's birthday with our family, which included a baby and a child. Our server was very helpful in helping us plan our meal. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. There were many options to choose from, and each dish was unique and tasty. The dessert, a chestnut soufflé recommended by our server, was a hit with my daughter who said it was one of the best desserts she had ever had. The service was excellent, and we will definitely be back!
The food is delicious and comes in small portions that can be shared. We particularly enjoyed the roasted cauliflower with a tahini dressing and the Garides Tava, which was a sauteed shrimp with tomatoes and olives. My friend had a glass of the Malbec and said it was wonderful. I had the Topaz Apple cocktail and the spice apple cider was a fantastic element to the drink.
Agora is one of my top choices for brunch. The atmosphere and food were both lovely as always. My only complaint is that our server also had a larger party to attend to. It felt like he was more focused on them than on our table. It took a while for our food order to be taken. While he was friendly, we couldn't help but notice the lack of attention to our table.

Andrew was a superb waiter on Sun 5/21. He was very attentive to my food allergies, and despite a very busy dining room, he took time to explain to me which dishes were safe and which were changed to accommodate. Thank you!
The food was delicious, but the service was incredibly slow. We had to leave without ordering more because we were running out of time for our upcoming flight, despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty.
The mezze selection at this restaurant is excellent. I highly recommend trying the taramosalata, kavurmali, and falafel. It's a great place to dine with a group.
I had a fantastic brunch experience! Highly recommend this restaurant, it's one of my favorite places in town for dining out. A definite must-try!

The restaurant provided catering for my daughter wedding. The food is simply amazing. Very fresh, super testy and interesting.
It was a fantastic experience, with delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. I will definitely be returning.
