I have been visiting this restaurant for over 31 years. I live near Joliet, and it's absolutely worth the hour-plus drive to get here. I've also had the same waiter for all these years, except when he's on vacation. In my opinion, this is the best Italian restaurant in Chicago, and I've tried many others!
Excellent food and great service. Bonus if you like seafood. I would consider this an old school Italian eatery with a specialty in seafood, hence the seahorse on the sign. My husband was in heaven. I actually hate seafood, but still enjoyed everything I ordered.
The restaurant has a lovely, inviting atmosphere with friendly staff and excellent service. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this charming and cozy establishment that another patron had written a review about.
