I went there a couple of years ago and purchased a takeaway and was totally put off by the sound of sneezing in the kitchen. Much against my better judgement I purchased two meals at the Agra Tandoori Takeaway on the evening of 22/12/2017. Whilst I was waiting for the food and after I 'd paid I heard someone sneeze loudly in the kitchen! Is this just my bad luck? Do people in the kitchen only have 'flu viruses when I visit? I ordered a takeout for nearly £50 at 6:50 pm and was told it would be delivered in an hour. However, it took 2 hours and 20 minutes and two phone calls to finally receive the cold food. Despite being hungry, we had no choice but to eat it. The delivery driver asked if there was a delay, to which we replied that there was a 2 hour and 20 minute delay. His response was that they were busy. If I had known there would be such a long wait, I would have ordered from somewhere else. I will not be ordering from this restaurant in the future, as they have lost my business. It's a shame because the food is usually good, but tonight's experience has put me off ordering from them again.
The food at this restaurant is overly oily and seems to be getting worse with each order. Although it always had great flavor, the increased greasiness is a disappointment. Additionally, they used to offer complimentary rice but now charge extra for it. There have also been instances where we had to wait up to two hours for our orders. We are wondering if there is new management and a new chef in place. We will now be searching for a less oily Indian restaurant. What a shame.
I would put this as a 0 if I could, had a delivery today food arrived. Disgusting is all I can say! Full of grease and the flavour was awful! Just tasted sour and full of vinegar never tasted such a vile curry in my life. After eating a small bit of it my partner rushed up to the toilet and threw up! Don’t know how these people are able to have a business when they make there customer physically sick!. I have no words rather than saying this is awful! Avoid completely!

Love these guys as they will step up the spice or take it down if you want. You can swap out rice combis for a niramish if need be. These guys are very obliging and it is never too much trouble either. Delivery timings are normally spot on if not early
Used to get all takeaway Indian food from here, food was not bad but personally found all the dishes too hot for my taste. Wouldn't want that to put anyone off though I'm just a wimp when it comes to chillies and stuff!
I ordered two new dishes, one Dhaka and one shaslik, and both were amazing. Dhaka has quickly become my new favorite dish. I would give them a perfect score of 10/10.
Our default Indian takeaway, reliably good . Used only one other Curry house in the last 18 months. And good value too !

This is an excellent indian takeaway the food is always good cooked while you wait and very good price
