Many reviews focus on the service at this restaurant, but my experience is based solely on takeout. I live across the street and hadn't tried it until recently. I placed an order one afternoon, and it was so delicious that I ordered again the next day for dinner. Having lived in Mexico, I can confirm that this isn't "authentic" Mexican cuisine, but it’s fantastic for the Americanized version it offers! The crab cakes and salmon salad are definitely a must-try! I’ll be returning for sure!
The Guacamole De Jaiba (guac w jumbo lump crab) was delicioso as were the margs. I felt like the Dinner Taco Platter for $17 was a pretty filling and standard meal and was very satisfied with the selection and taste. Felt like the atmosphere was slightly lacking but that could’ve been due to the general cold outside. Would try again in the summer when the waterfront and weather are more inviting for hopefully a more complete experience.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and the drinks were excellent. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, although I wished the music had been a bit louder. The service was quick and top-notch. I appreciated the hooks at the bar for hanging my coat, as well as the available outlets. In terms of pricing, it was on par with other places in the area, and I ended up spending less than I expected.
I went to Agua 301 for Sunday brunch, and it was definitely a great experience. The bottomless mimosas and sangrias were fantastic, and the banana foster pancakes and crab omelet were delicious. Agua really brought their A game! The staff was also very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in DC. Réservez une table maintenant
The servers were efficient, friendly, and very accommodating. Caroline and her trainee, Julian, were fantastic. However, the margaritas were disappointing; they lacked the balance and flavor that good ingredients should provide. At $12 each, I recommend skipping them altogether.
Our waitress was absolutely amazing. Personal service that made us feel like we were visiting an old friend in their home. The food was fantastic and the drinks superb. A great value for the price. 10/10 would return.
Food was great!!! I especially loved the whitefish ceviche. The views from the patio are very appealing and the prices were inline with what you'd expect from a place if this quality. I will definitely will be back!!
