Ahmo's Gyros Deli - Réserver une table

I have been eating at Ahmo’s since my college days. I have always had fantastic tasting food from both the Ann Arbor and Ypsi locations. I was just at the Ypsi location on Monday, and it was the most awful tasting meal ever. The gyro meat was flavorless and dry, the tomatoes were slimy and there were only 3 tiny slices, it had an over abundance of onions (and I asked for NO onions , the pita tasted like old grease, and the rice was a yellow color tasted strange (did they change the kind of rice? . The fattoush had a lot of green peppers, which have never been in the salad and are not on the menu description, and ruined the taste of the salad. Great food when you're on a time crunch. Better than I'd expect from fast food but not quite the quality of a full sit down Mediterranean restaurant, which is fine because they charge a fair amount for good food. Estimated wait times have been accurate and food warmth/quality have always met or beat expectations. After 4-5 visits I can safely recommend their consistency which seems to be the main negative when dealing with Mediterranean fast food establishments. If you're looking for the full sit down Mediterranean experience this isn't it, it's definitely fast food, but it sets the bar high for Amerimediterranean style fast food : .

A few weeks ago, I visited Ahmo's to order a cheese steak and fries for my son and a Gyro for myself. We also got drinks with our meals. After paying, I asked the young lady for a cup holder. Instead of handing it to me, she tossed it on the counter and continued talking to another employee. The food at Ahmo's is delicious, but the customer service is terrible. I spoke to Rami about my experience with the young lady, and I believe she should not be working there if she is going to treat customers poorly. Changes need to be made to improve the customer service at this establishment.

I placed a takeout order for a charbroiled chicken Caesar salad, but when I got back to work, I realized they gave me a regular Caesar salad instead. I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant before. I paid $10.50 for a Caesar salad that only had about 50 cents worth of lettuce in it. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I enjoy visiting this restaurant whenever I am in Michigan. They have the best falafel I have ever tasted. I have not found another place that makes them as well, except for my own home. Keep up the good work! The service was also fantastic.
