Ahnapee Brewery, Algoma

This is an excellent nano brewery! I began supporting them when they were operating from a garage just a few doors down from Von Stiehl Winery. They crafted fantastic beer back then, and they have really elevated their offerings since. This place is a MUST-VISIT on your journey north, especially before you reach the wineries in Door County.

Stopped into town to see the parade during Shanty days and had a few beers as a group at the brewery. Everyone enjoyed what they chose. Servers at the taps were super nice. Picnic tables outside were a great venue. We didn't eat or buy any merchandise, so this rating is just for the beer. Recommend

Great place to relax and have a drink in the garage or on the patio. Good stop on the way to or from Door Cty. Nice views. Some food choices but not many. However restaurants are within walking distance.

Very nice location and atmosphere. Tried six beers and they were not the best all had an unpleasant aftertaste. Definitely not our favorite brewery stop.

Interesting flavors and a good variety of beer. Ginger ale beer is very strong ginger flavor.
