Came here for dinner on a Friday night. If you’re dining in on the weekends, make sure to reserve a table because it was a full house. Our sushi took about an hour to get to us after ordering, but the waitress there was super sweet and kept us informed on our order without us having to ask about it. I personally love Aji! It's great to be back. Had stopped dining at Aji 53 for the passed few years as the taste and quality of the food declined and when the food was good the lack of consistency ensured it wouldn't be the next time you went. But something has happened recently — the food has been resurrected. On a spontaneous rare whim I opted to have dinner there this week and give it a try again. And I was extremely pleased. Disappointment is an understatement. Went over for lunch. Had the American dream roll which was okay, however we order 1 pork gyoza which was tasteless, a teriyaki chicken that was nothing even close to teriyaki chicken. The sauce was poorly made an honestly the dishes were still wet, where you could see the water and the sauce not mixing. We've been dining here off and on for years and it used to be very good. We used to enjoy the fresh and delicious Japanese food. The food quality at Aji 53 has consistently gone down over the past few years. The appetizers were not very good. The teriyaki was barely edible with sauce being the consistency of glue! Yuck!!! Absolutely horrendous. They get two stars because the staff was very friendly. After this last visit, we will not return. It's a shame. D

I placed an order through their online platform at 4:30 PM on a Tuesday for my wife's birthday. At 5:40 PM, we received a call informing us that the order was on its way. Then, at 6:15 PM, we were told the same thing again. Now, at 6:30 PM, the food still hasn't arrived, making it a total wait of two hours since I placed the order. This has been a very disappointing experience, and I will not be ordering from AJI 53 again.
Wow is all I can say! Fresh and very generous in everything they made! Hard to find good sushi and I’m visiting the area and I’m impressed
This place is really nice. Great spot, staff and delicious food. Menu is not overwhelming and prices are fair.
The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. I always have a great experience here!
