WOW, it was lovely to see that they still had some of the same old favourites as to when I was a kid. I enjoyed the custard tart & the Apple turn over with Mock Cream, usually it is fresh cream but I love mock cream. The sausages roll were very tasty and didn't need tomato sauce like a lot of others. The service was friendly and he is always obliging, another family run business that was around and is still standing today since I was young. Keep going AJ, we need good businesses around like yours and our family supports you and will continue to do so.
We were leaving early on our way South around the Coast Road and discovered this little gem by accident. It was the only shop open for coffee at 7:30am and while there is limited seating outside we decided to give it a try and we weren't disappointed. The bakery serves fresh everything and the French pastries were delicious. If it hadn't been so early I would have tried the apple and cream turnovers as they looked fantastic. The coffee was great and the service exceptional for such a small place. Highly recommended.
I recently discovered AJ's Bake House, a small bakery hidden away in a quite part of Batemans Bay and can honestly say it is one of the best discoveries I have ever made!All of the delicious pies & sausage rolls, and the scrumptious sandwiches are undeniably the best in town (in my opinion anyway). The pastries especially are absolutely unbelievably epic to the tastebuds!!!I definitely recommend this hidden gem to anybody looking for some delicious food.

This is a nice Bakery where you can get the best tasting pies anywhere on the south coast, they do great coffees and have some very nice cakes and slices, in particular you can't go past their yummy vanilla slice which is devine
I had a very yummy savoury bun--caramalized onion-- and a large mug of cappuccino for my breakfast here. Excellent. This place is just across the road from Target. There are two tables out in the front. Highly recommended.
A J’s Bake House in Batemans Bay was a splendid option for baked goods, strudels, pies, rolls and other great fresh baked options. Coffee wasn’t amazing but forget the coffee and just eat delicious pastries.
Great food, lovely people. It's all very good, I can't go past the regular beef pie and an apple strudel for dessert. An excellent bakery.

We stopped for light refreshments after a walking around town. It was a nice break with lovely freash pastries.
I wanted to be impressed but sadly the experience was just so-so.
