My partner and I got a late weekday omakase and ended up having the room with Harry all to ourselves. There were only a few other parties in the restaurant. If you're doing omakase, definitely get the appetizers. They were some of the most interesting dishes we had during the meal. We liked the sushi omakase, too, but they were very similar to each other (torched, same spiciness). That being said, the fish were all very fresh and nicely presented, and there was an abundance of uni, my fave. The rolled up in seaweed and shiso leaf as well as the mildly sweet egg custard cubes at the end were also a nice touch.I'd skip the cocktails. I have to say Akai has the best sushi in Westchester County. Never fails to disappoint, and has been and will be one of the best experiences I’ve lived in my near 21 year old life, as both a customer and employee. Came in for a late lunch/early dinner on Saturday. Atmosphere and service is good. However, sushi rice was over cooked and there was a grease film over our shrimp fried rice. Also, bathroom is dirty. Table is sticky. Garden salad didn’t come with any side dressing. We have been the only couple/table at the restaurant for almost the last hour and it was not busy prior to us arriving (one other table was full). Not sure why the high marks.
Really nice restaurant. The staff makes good recommendations and I left feeling full with their excellent dishes.They have the traditional Asian fusion options, like sushi, and mochi ice cream for dessert.Overall great restaurant to go for lunch or dinner. Can regularly accommodate partys of 4.Parking is street level and I have never had an issue.

I've been searching for a great takeout sushi spot for quite a while, and out of the seven restaurants I've tried, this is the best one. The texture of the salmon is fantastic! It tastes incredibly fresh, unlike the mushy sushi I've had at other places.
The service was very slow, the food was just average, and nearly half of the sushi options on the menu weren't available to order. Additionally, we were overcharged for an extra drink.
Great location! I really enjoyed the salmon hamachi. All the rolls are quite good. I found the Scarsdale roll to be unique, and I liked the crab roll as well.
The food was good but the service was horrible for pick up . They got my name wrong and and were a little rude

Hands down best sushi in Westchester.Clean modern restaurant, fresh top grade sushi, and awesome service.
Sushi was fresh. Flavors could be better, the ginger salad dressing a little on the bitter side.
