I went here based solely on all the 5 star reviews. The pics posted, all the “best sushi I’ve ever had” I was excited to try this place Soooo did someone pay for all these amazing reviews? I was shocked when the food was subpar just based on all these stars. Maybe my expectations were too high? I’m gonna go with like just, just above Harris Teeter level ‘I may regret eating this later’ grade sushi. Would not go back. Gas station sushi indeed! The service was good, the atmos cramped teeny tiny little space and the food well bad.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. From the outside, it may not look like much, but the food is top-notch. This is the best sushi I have ever had in North Carolina. Make sure to arrive early since seating is limited. The service was excellent, and I highly recommend dining in for dinner. The price per person is $10-20. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a rating of 5. I recommend trying the King Salmon Roll, Spider Roll, and Gyoza.

This sushi bar is a hidden gem! I ordered the scattered sushi, while my husband opted for a roll. We still had room for the delicious yuzu mango cheesecake. The quality of the food was top-notch, and the service was excellent. Dining in for dinner was a great experience. The price per person was $20–$30, but well worth it for the amazing food and atmosphere. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 5-star rating for food, service, and atmosphere.

Hands down the best sushi place in the state. Highest quality fresh fish around, a whole different league from any other place. Great place with some real spirit, the owner is an absolute delight. I cannot overstate how wonderful this sushi bar is. An absolute must try location, nothing compares. Service: Dine in Réservez une table maintenant

This restaurant has a cozy and intimate atmosphere with limited seating. Despite the wait, the food is exceptional and they have a great selection of sake. The sushi is outstanding, with unique and delicious options. Make sure to try the Gas Station Sushi!
