Great little Japanese dining that is easily overlooked in Randwick, I have eaten there twice now with my wife and we will probably make it the regular for our Japanese fix.
The first visit we had the chicken katsu roll with a coffee for lunch. The coffee was surprisingly good and the roll was very tasty which besides the chicken also included egg and salad, which was very filling.
My most recent visit was for dinner which to my opinion was fantastic. The hosts were very polite and talkative and I couldn't fault their service at all. My wife and I had the pork gyoza, chicken katsu curry and beef bibimbap. The gyoza were delicious, not excessively oily and the filling was tasty and light . T...

Small Japanese place on the corner of Alison and Belmore road. The lady and man who work there are lovely and hospitable. They offer a range of entrees like edamame, gyoza, agedashi tofu, takoyaki, karage. They also sell salads, sashimi and bento box deals. They have posters advertising some really nice Gabi Jim but they often never have it. Some other specials advertised like beef ribs and chilli pork. We got the agadashi tofu, nice but quite runny, certainly tasty though. I got the sashimi which was a generous serve accompanied by two sushi pieces. HUNGRY SUMMARY - good place for a casual meal (brekky or lunch) in Randwick, with food of both western and Japanese/Korean influences.
FOOD - teriyaki chicken bento. Very tasty bento. The chicken was well cooked, the egg was delicious and the sashimi was good too. However the gyoza was fried too much and it tasted like chewing cardboard. Overall though the bento was hearty and healthy.
They also serve coffee, tea, cakes etc. and serves as a little cafe as well, so very all-round here.

J'adore cet endroit! Mon petit ami et moi avons passé plusieurs fois auparavant cet endroit et j'ai décidé de lui donner une nuit en fonction des critiques d'ici. Nous ne pouvons pas croire que nous ne sommes pas venus ici plus tôt! Ils servent les plus frais de sushis et de sashimi et de portions sont très décents! Nous mangons maintenant ici hebdomadaire.Luit notre japonais préféré à Sydney
