Akbar Tandoori Restaurant

We ate here two nights ago. The food is great. The portions are large. It is reasonably priced. For example Lamb jalfrezi was £7.75. This is without the current 20% Covid discount. Menu is also online. At the momen, you can bring your own wine, don't know if this aspect will be permanent. Highly recommended. Enjoy

This cozy little restaurant appears to be family-owned, although I could be mistaken. The food was absolutely fantastic, offering all the classic dishes you'd expect as well as some unique specials. I tried one of the specials and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable.

Always great food, so good to be back after lock down. Extensive menu choice, with every dish fresh and tasty. Can bring your beer/wine which makes it a very affordable evening out. Nice and friendly service we can highly recommend this restaurant. A K

We frequently order from Akbar and every time the food is incredibly tasty. It is always delivered quickly with a friendly smile. The entire staff is polite and welcoming.

This is a gem of an Indian cuisine. All dishes prepared fresh. Staff very courteous and helpful. Delivery is made very promptly. Our best Indian experience in Kingston.

Excellent food and a fast and personal delivery service. The chef really strikes a great balance of taste and spice. We LOVE it.
