I do not know who Pistol P is or what his agenda is... but AKI is the BEST SUSHI YOU WILL FIND ANYWHERE!!!! I have traveled the entire world and you aren't finding this quality sushi anywhere except Japan. Furthermore, the owners are the same owners that opened this amazing establishment! As far as service goes, it is first rate. Everyone is so kind and attentive. For anyone wanting the finest, freshest fish this is THE PLACE!
AKI is a true gem in Covington, offering authentic Japanese sushi made with the finest ingredients and the freshest fish. The preparation is expertly done, making every bite a delight. The restaurant is small with limited seating, adding to its charm, and it's family-run, giving it a warm, welcoming atmosphere. You won’t find better sushi in all of Louisiana. I visit three times a month and cannot recommend it highly enough.
Fantastic dining experience! The sashimi was incredibly tasty, and the rolls were simply remarkable! For vegetarians, the crispy fried broccoli and sweet potato were perfectly crispy! Service was excellent for dining in. Average price per person: $50–100. Overall ratings: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5. Highly recommended dishes include the King Cake Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, and sashimi.
This meal was disappointing compared to what I know you're capable of. There was too much imitation crab, an overwhelming amount of mayo and sauce, and the pinwheel-sized rolls were definitely excessive. I suggest sticking to simpler, cleaner preparations; otherwise, you risk becoming like other places that have lost their way. Réservez une table maintenant
It's been a year since my last review and just wanted to follow up, I have had the burrito roll 43 times give or take since then. Forty-three. THE BURRITO ROLL DOESN'T LIE! The sushi quality here is phenomenal , Chef Oui and Mrs. Lynn are unmatched in the sushi game! The quality speaks for itself.
This is hands down the best sushi in the area. Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff is fantastic, and if I could, I would dine here every day!
Only the freshest fish is served here. The rolls are amazing and the ambiance is nice for a family dinner or a date night. You definitely get what you pay for.
