The Greek in Waldkirch is not easy to find. It is good that the city of Waldkirch has built a sign system in the whole city and also in the peripheral areas, which are also places that are a few kilometers from the center. So I was also attentive to this beautiful Greek restaurant. It is completely hidden in the outskirts, the district is called Kollnau. It is beautifully decorated as it is used to the Greeks. Of course, the equipment is pure decoration, so no real stones, columns, stucco etc. But it comes into the atmosphere and that has tuned, including subtle Greek background music. In the middle of the very large guest rooms is a heat-saving wood stove with glass cladding. There is an oversized menu, as diverse is the offer. You could also eat during the day if others prefer to go to the café. And it tasted excellent. In the end there was the mandatory Ouso. For the summer a back house of the large guest garden awaits, also with Greek columns and ballustrades. Unfortunately, the parking lot in the house is too small. Maneuvering here and outside is not every (every woman) thing. Street parking is as good as no use. Overall but a recommended house with friendly service.
