Al Biernat's Oak Lawn

A couple years ago, before the coronavirus pandemic set it, we went with friends to Al Biernat's for brunch. We had the strawberry pancakes and they were the best pancakes we had ever tasted. We only came back Sunday because we heard they were on the brunch menu again. What a disappointment! They were virtually inedible. Whether this is because you can't find the right fresh ingredients anymore, or you can't get good kitchen staff, or all the above and maybe others too, is irrelevant. We won't be coming to Al Biernat's again. Such a pity

We had the perfect table outside. The service was amazing! We had a fantastic server that knew exactly what to recommend! Great food, great wine, perfect! Will return for sure
