Al Freskito - Réserver une table

Having read the reviews on here I was a little sceptical as to how good this restaurant might be. I was staying around the corner at the Alegria Placa Paris so was one of my nearest restaurants. At first glance appears to be a typical Spanish restaurant and menu. The actual building it is in has been very well thought out in terms of space usage and decor with some modern twists on the traditional. Same for the menu. And the food is fantastic so well cooked, using top quality ingredients and great presentation with, again, a few modern twists. Everything I ordered (and I ended up going the majority of my holiday there, ensuring I got a table by booking as it gets very full).Very acceptable house wines, especially the white. And they have my favourite brandy, Carlos Primero. Plus some of the best coffees I have had in a long time And a very welcoming atmosphere and warm hospitality like going to friends for dinner. The (very) hard working staff treat you as special and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them, especially with demanding guests like me! Only issue for me and it is my issue is that the portions are huge, like many restaurants in Spain. I am sure they could halve the portion sizes and they would still be enough for most people. Even local Spanish diners were finding the portions to sometimes be too much for them. So, when ordering, I usually asked for a small portion and/or just a main course. The fillet steak I had on my last Saturday night was just the right size for me. I don 't eat steak very often and it was superb perfectly cooked to my taste (medium) and full of flavour. I think this may now be my favourite restaurant in Spain!

After a recommendation from our hotel Santa Rosa October 23) for finding a traditional Spanish restaurant, we couldn’t have found a better restaurant. Although we had to get up and get our own Olive oil and salt pepper, we were accompanied straight away by olives, salami and bread which was a nice touch. We ordered the Scallops x6) to start with and they were just amazing, although they were €14 which I’m not complaining about, they were just amazing. My partner tested her boundary with ordering the Turbot which was really nice but a bit boney, but I had the Grilled Fish Platter €24) which was just what I wanted with being in Spain. It was just incredible and filling and probably the best dish I’ve had for years! Truely delicious and well worth every single penny! We then had the Tiramasu which was lovely and the chocolate bomb which was quite sweet, a bit cocoa like but still nice. We asked for the bill and out came these two little shots… oh my god, I had to go and ask for a picture of the bottle, it was so nice. Overall, I’m so so chuffed we came here and experienced some proper Spanish food by some lovely people, €85 for a fulfilling three course meal for 2) and a bottle of white wine and the extras that weren’t expected, well and truely worth it. I would genuinely recommend this restaurant if you would like the traditional Spanish experience. Thankyou.

I write in english because the locals already knows it is a good restaurant. Freskito is by far the best restaurant in Lloret. It is worth its price. It is not Guy Savoy Paris but it is not 200 Euro per person either. We took the menue 17 euro plus an upgrading for 7 euro. Fantastique price/value. Un petite critique. There is probalby a reason for not seasoning the food as much as I like. Lamb should have more garlic my taste the rosemarin could have been fried. If you do not season the meat why not put some pepper salt on the table. I have never been non content ar Freskito. Roy El sueco

I have the most difficult son! Food regarding he will eat just chips and junk food! Finally he eat something different and insisted to come back 3 times! 100% recommended the best Spanish food! The croquettes yummy

Good value for money, and excellent food. Good and friendly service. Make sure you book, we saw several people being turned away.
