my wife and I stayed in starnberg before we started our hike on the König-Ludwigs path. we needed a break from schnitzel and beer and decided to try this Italian restaurant. the service was friendly and fast (although it was carried out in a sometimes confusing mix of italiano, German and English!) we were first pampered with a free bruschetta. for 35 euro we shared a bottle of water, an salate and a small carafe wein, then we had separate appetizers, a large portion tiramisu and espresso, followed by a free lemonencello. the portions had a good size - not excessively large or small. the waiter stopped several times to fill our water and wine glasses. We were at the hotel that owned this hotel. When we arrived in the afternoon, it looked busy. When we went for dinner, it looked too busy, but decided to try. We were welcomed by a very friendly manager. The menu was really varied. We had to share the Italian recorders... it was just good. I had Pasta all arrabiata and my partner had Pasta all ragu. Everything was good. We had a very pleasant dinner and will definitely visit Starnberg again.
cherries: baked Bolognese sauce, tastes properly burned and burned out of the pan. fresh whispers of simply terrible quality, tiny, hard pellets in oversalted broth, other noodle dish with the same burned tomato sauce, but nice staff. enough to be slightly nervous and cheerful about how much money they spent for a terrible eating, really terrible, I feel bad when I say it, but just don't go.
great Italian eating a few meters from the railway station. we recommend to make a hike and then eat out in this restaurant. the quality of the food is very good. they began to serve a bruschetta as a small appetizer. main dishes are very tasty and balanced. at the end we got a nice piece of cake on the house. are still patient, as they may have to wait long before they receive their court.

a colleague who used to live in starnberg recommended this place and I am glad he did it. the atmosphere was very nice and the food was incredible. it was the birthday of an older lady and the staff brought out a special dessert and sang something to her. Apparently this is something they do for all birthdays.
Impossible to forget this warm Italian welcome that accompanied us all along the journey! A great caprese as a starter pizza quattro stagioni and tasteful tender entrecôte. Service simply the best nice people with a genuine caring attitude
In spite of a reservation we had to wait quite a while to be served and finally complained. Nothing changed, the few waiters were obviously stressed and we decided to leave. I spoke with the boss, he seemed not to be bothered at all...
it was a very nice evening, although we were quite late (20.30 a.m.) we were greeted nicely and supplied with food. everything was great. I had the best spaghetti with tomato sauce. I'd eat again.

Nice place at the Starnberg lake, pleasant waiter, excellent pizza, affordable prices, second time here and will come again.
this is the restaurant of a hotel. enjoy daily lunch menus. they are worth their money.
