Al Mina - Réservation de table

Al Mina is a phenomenal cafe in prospect. They used to only do sweets but now do food as well. The food is freshly made, no microwave on the premises, and is absolutely delicious. The price is a real bargain considering the portion size and the quality of the food. This is one of the best places in Adelaide for coffee and with the restaurant now serving fresh Lebanese food it is a must visit. A Cibo cafe is only just up Prospect road from Al Mina. It normally has 2-3 times the people in it - little do these people know about the gem just down the road in Al Mina. The coffee's better, the sweets not thawed from the freezer but freshly made and the price is at least 50% cheaper. Your kidding y...

Al Mina ("the harbour") recently moved from Main North Rd to Prospect Rd and now serves light lunches in addition to a great range of Lebanese sweets. My wife and I had lunch there today and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the AB wrap (lamb with salad and ranch dressing, with chips in the wrap) and her indoors had the falafel salad. We finished with some Lebanese sweets and coffees. Service was friendly and efficient, and prices reasonable. They are planning to bring out gluten free and vegan menus in the near future.My only reservation is that it's a little cramped. With food of this quality I can see them needing bigger premises in future.

I've driven past this little gem for months thinking it was only for desserts & coffee... but today our long awaited catch up found us at Al Mina for brunch and it did not disappoint. The 4 of us all had something different from either the breakfast menu (until 2pm?.yay!) or the normal menu and not one of us could fault anything. My dish of poached eggs & smashed avocado on home made Turkish bread ( thanks Sam) was to die for as was the coffee. We all looked at the vast array of sweets and decided that would be for our next visit. This is definitely going to be our meeting place from now on.

I've been here for lunch and also for late night coffee and snacks. The food is top quality, delicious and freshly prepared, and the prices are low. Huge range of Middle Eastern style patisserie items as well as cakes and gelati, and toasted flat breads oozing delightful cheesy goodness! Haven't tried the other items on the menu yet but I intend to! I last went with a group of 6 friends and everyone was all but licking their plates clean and getting take away items for later. We dined here on a weekend night with our children. Children are welcomed. We ate Lebanese sausages with hummus (delicious) and a spiced chicken salad. The dishes were full of flavour, nicely presented and freshly made.This is a terrific cafe. I hope they do well.

The sweets are to die for, the coffee is good and the pide is delicious. You can tell a lot of love goes into the food here. A cultural experience without leaving Adelaide.
