While I waited for my order, another customer came in, but she left unhappy after the chef told her that he had no one to assist him and that her order would take at least an hour. The cashier tried to help by saying she would call the owner for assistance, but the chef responded in a disrespectful manner, pointing at her and loudly declaring that the owner was busy and she shouldn’t bother him. I felt sorry for both the cashier and the other customer.
The restaurant was so much better under Abu Rida's management. I really hope the new owner is aware of what's happening, but unfortunately, I won't be returning.
Initially, I believed that most Mediterranean restaurants in this area offered similar dishes, and while they do share some commonalities, there are notable differences in preparation methods and spice choices. Al Raouche stands out in this regard. The food is consistently delicious, the staff is incredibly friendly, the prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is delightful.
I received prompt service and the waitress was friendly. The falafel with hummus was excellent, and the pita bread was wonderfully soft. The portion sizes were generous. I really enjoyed the lentil soup and the green olives. The restaurant was clean, and while the interior wasn't extravagant, it was quite comfortable. I'm really glad I decided to stop by! Food rating: 5/5.
Excellent middle Eastern food. Great for a quick lunch. We always order a mix of cold and hot mezzes. Today we got the falafel, mahammara, mahaboha, labneh, foul madames and shepherds salad. For the 3 of us it was great and we have left overs for dinner. I wish they has shug instead of the other hot sauce they have.

This place offers consistently excellent food, it has never disappointed us. Quick service, whether you order for dine in or take out. Servers are very friendly. The restaurant inside could use some renovation to be more appealing, but who cares really when the food is so good! Real authentic lebanese food!
This is the best shawarma in Paterson! It nearly matches the delicious ones found in Dubai. Salahedin, which used to be my favorite spot in Paterson, has closed down, so this has become my new go-to place. The service is excellent, and the staff is a pleasure to interact with.
