Absolutely and utterly delicious! Breathtakingly good. Never have I eaten at an Italian restaurant that had me gasp at every bite.It was clear and obvious the quality of the food and the fact that it was homemade.we ordered:See the video for yourself, the meat is actually falling off the bone. so tender, so juicy and riddled with flavor. A battle I had was continuing to eat more while realizing I was getting too full! Great portion sizes!I'm counting the days until we return. There’s a touch of home-style warmth in the dishes, showing that they were made with care and love, but don’t let that fool you into thinking the food is simple or ordinary—it's anything but. Vegetarian Food Review: Found Al Volo on Google and went there to grab some dinner. Really liked the ambiance. The bread served was no good…. Soft and nor was the oil flavoured like it could have been with the stuff in it. However the Burrata Ravioli was a pleasant surprise thus the 4 star. It was simple and lovely. They did not have much option for nonalcoholic beverage so succumbed to my normal choice as Coke is the only option.Vegetarian options: They had 5 options for vegetarian in pasta.
My wife and I had an excellent dinner at this modest-size neighborhood gem in the Adams Morgan district. From the moment we walked in the restaurant, the service was welcoming, warm and responsive. The menu was interesting and the fresh pasta was excellent and arrived at our table very quickly. The soundtrack enhanced the overall atmosphere, as does the open kitchen. During a brief visit to DC, I tried the unique Caesar salad and the delicious seafood chitarra. While there were many tasty seafood options, I wasn't a fan of my pasta. My wife ordered the wild boar special, and my daughter had the mushroom special (which was truly mushroom-centric!). The dishes looked great in today's special pictures. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch and were wowed by both the wild boar and mushroom dishes—they were amazing!
This restaurant is fantastic in every way, particularly due to its amazing staff. They work together seamlessly to ensure that drinks are constantly refilled and that the food is served hot. Ricardo stood out as an exceptional team member—his knowledge, energy, and kindness truly enhanced our experience. It's people like him who make dining out memorable. Food: 5/5.
We absolutely adored the atmosphere as soon as we walked in. They serve bread and oil at the table, which is quite tempting, so be sure to resist the urge to overindulge! I opted for the house red wine, the meatballs as an appetizer, and the cacio e pepe—everything was delicious! My friend had the lasagna, and it was fantastic as well. Food: 5/5.
