One of the top restaurants in Quincy, especially if you’re looking for a rooftop bar and restaurant to chill at. They have a separate place named Zef roof top but its essentially under the same roof and from the same kitchen in case you’re wondering. From what we ordered, I highly recommend the truffle gnocchi and bolognese, it was sooo good! They apparently have a very seasoned sushi chef in the kitchen and they weren’t kidding regarding his experience. The sushi rolls had a great proportion especially with how tight he rolled them. The fish itself is fresh and I have no complaints. The truffle fries were also very good crispy and nice hit of parmesan and truffle. The other dishes were good...
Finding the main entrance can be a bit tricky, as there’s a large glass sliding door that faces the main road but is locked. The actual entrance is around the corner. ALBA and Zef Cicchetti are part of the same establishment, which can be confusing if you're searching for either one. The service here has always been attentive without feeling rushed. The food is absolutely delicious! As a seafood lover, I was thrilled with the raw bar and seafood selections. I highly recommend the crab cakes and the roasted oysters as appetizers; they were the best oysters I’ve ever had. We began our evening in the bustling bar area, where we could easily make eye contact with the bartender, Michael. The martinis were fantastic, and as we waited for a spot at the bar, we received great recommendations for the steak. We ordered a ribeye and a sirloin, both of which were cooked to perfection. The mac and cheese was also incredible, and we enjoyed pomegranate martinis throughout the night. The highlight of our experience was Michael's exceptional service; while the food was amazing, it was the service that truly elevated our evening. We can't wait to return!
It was our first visit to this restaurant, and we absolutely loved it! We arrived during a quiet lunch hour, allowing us to fully appreciate the elegant atmosphere and the delicious food. We will definitely be returning. We ordered soups, regular and lamb burgers, and chicken parmesan, along with a bottle of prosecco and some lemonades. Everything was fantastic! Our server seemed to be new and still learning, but they were friendly and overall did a great job. I also learned that during the summer, they offer rooftop dining, which I would love to experience as well.
We visited this restaurant during our trip to Boston, walking there from our Airbnb. The rooftop atmosphere was fantastic—energetic and vibrant. We started off with fresh oysters, which were impressive in size and incredibly fresh; I absolutely loved them. We also tried a salmon sushi roll, and I can confidently say it was the best salmon I’ve ever had. We shared a swordfish steak as well; it had a slightly fishy taste at first, but it became more enjoyable after a few bites. Overall, this place was excellent, and I highly recommend it.
When we went to Boston, we came from our Airbnb. This place has such a large roof Vibe very energetic and lively. We had fresh oysters here and were so huge and fresh. I loved her. Then we had a salmon sushi roll, and that was the best salmon I ever had. We shared the swordfish steak, and it was a little fishy first, but it was good after a few bites. This place was very good, and I highly recommend it.
First and foremost, our server was so attentive and experienced. The service was impeccable, really happy about that. The oysters were so fresh and the steak was seared a perfect medium rare. For dessert, the Panna Cotta was so good. Prices are also reasonable and I won't hesitate to come back!
My friends and I went to dinner Saturday what a fantastic dinner. We started with drinks the appetizers. Tuna tartare and calamari both were incredible the main course was ribeyes mashed potatoes and mushrooms The ribeyes were cooked perfectly. They were so tender they melted in your mouth.
