Ce restaurant a la particularité unique d'être en même temps la gare de Alp Grüm sur la ligne de la RhB de la Bernina et particularité supplémentaire il n'y a pas de route jusqu'à la gare de Alp Grüm et donc le train est le seul moyen d'y arriver à part la marche à pied depuis les gares avant 'Ospisio Bernina' ou après 'Cavaglia'. La vue de cet endroit est magnifique sur le glacier du Palu et le lac. Et bien sûr pour les amateurs de train il y a le train rouge de la Bernina ou Bernina Express. we passed thru here a few yrs ago, an stopped off for lunch, and thought it`d be a great place to stay !we only stayed for 2 nights, and wished we`d stayed longer, from the moment you get off the train and walk thru the doors we were made to feel very welcomed, almost like family !check in, took a few mins and were shown our room, ( cancian ) the best room for sure, as its on the corner of the hotel looking down towards italy, and to the rear overlooking the lake.a lot of money has been spent here recently, the rooms are now all en-suite, and this room, and the others too, are of a very high standard, large beds, lots of room and large walk in showers...food is very very good too, we recomen...
Die Aussicht ist perfekt - der Zugang bequem: gleich an der Eisenbahnstation der einmaligen Bahnlinie Pontresina - Tirana.Für acht Personen haben wir Tage zuvor Sitzplätze reserviert für ein Mittagessen.Leider waren zum exakt gemeldeten Termin keine Plätze reserviert. Das Personal hatte keine Reservationen getätigt. Dem Schicksal ergeben haben wir auf Notsitzen gewartet und gehofft und endlich auch bestellen können: Doch leider dauerte es dann knapp eine Stunde bis das Tagesmenü (bestehend aus einem Salattellerchen und einem Fleischvogel und etwas Kartoffelstock) geliefert werden konnte.
