Simple, outdated hotel in a great location right on the lake with a restaurant and panoramic terrace right on the water, great views. Rooms very clean, furnishings simple but new, bathroom great, everything was top notch. Restaurant Penne Bolognese delicious, 20 CHF. We had the room in the roof with a bathroom, sleeping area for children and balcony. No breakfast buffet, individual portions, but sufficiently large, very tasty, fine cheese and sausage platter, croissant, rolls, bread, fruit, muesli, cake, everything was top notch. Food was fantastic and the service excellent and friendly. Much better than Chalet Saint Giorgio down the road. Menu is interesting and large enough to find something to everyones taste. The lake front restaurant has a beautiful view of Morcote on the opposite shore with its beautiful hilltop church. There is a jetty if you wish to arrive by boat
Top Lage am See mit Aussicht auf Morcote, Abendsonne inklusive. Schöne Karte, der Champagner wird mit dem Schwert geöffnet witzig. Küche inkl Pizza fantastisch. Kellner dürften etwas herzlicher sein, aber insgesamt sehr gut. Unsere Kinder durften die Meerschweinchen füttern ein Highlight! Wir kommen gerne wieder!Ca 5 6 Anlegeplätze fürs Boot.
We often go to the Zappa restaurant and it is always a real pleasure to go back. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The place is enchanting and the menu card a real delight. Charming hotel but from another time… In an idyllic setting, magical view of the lake. Welcoming staff. We ate very well. The rooms are clean, but without air conditioning and overlooking the road, it is difficult to sleep peacefully. Too bad because the hotel has enormous potential.
