Albertson Seafood Market

I worked here 38 years ago and was happy to return. The staff answered all my historical over the years questions and I enjoyed the walk down memory lane. Great clean market, every item setup neat. Sure, many changes, and you have to feature a shark on the back wall for the kids ?! Fresh fish and deli/counter items abound, all mouth watering. My dad loved the fresh flounder I made for Him that evening, but really I could have enjoyed much more. All items appealing, with many aesthetic store developments, and great items. Yes, the mermaid picture is still there from the 70 's! ????

They went above and beyond! I am from Florida and moved to New York recently and have not been able to get my hands on Florida fish for a reasonable price. They not only ordered me only 4lbs at market price but they skinned it and cut it in the portions I asked and individually wrapped it for me. I ordered the mahi mahi on a Friday and i got the call Tuesday morning that it was in. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful! I Recommend this market to anyone who wants great quality, prices and service.

Avoid this store!!! There is a terrible bully who works there now who used to work at the deli counter at The Food Emporium. A very bad attitude, just a bully. When I went to get fish, I saw him and walked right out! He is old and short and fat and makes believe he's a Marine (wears a US Marine hat, probably fake).

My first time there! Mike helped me with my choice and I asked for his recommendation on how to prepare it. Thanks to him, my branzino came out perfect and delicious!!! I highly recommend this fish store!! I will definitely be back!!
